iShare is an independent URL shortening service built around one simple purpose: making long URLs short, clean and easy to share.

Why iShare exists

iShare started with a simple observation: shortening a URL shouldn't require an account, a complicated dashboard or unnecessary features. Existing services often made a simple task more complicated than it needed to be.

I wanted to build an alternative that focuses on what actually matters. No unnecessary steps, no distractions. Just paste a link, shorten it and share it.

Who is behind it

iShare was founded and developed by Gabriel Sgroi, an independent software developer based in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany.

I build and operate iShare independently, with a focus on simplicity, reliability and making useful tools accessible to everyone. More about my work is on sgroi.ga.

Our approach

iShare is free to use and requires no registration. Links remain active until they are deleted or their scheduled expiration date is reached.

The goal is simple: provide a useful service that does exactly what it promises, without making users pay for complexity they don't need.
