Documentation
This is the screen at isha.re. Paste an address, keep the short link, and open the original page from the menu. Projects that create links from code use the API.
Shorten a link
Paste the address into Add link and choose Short it, or press Enter. An address without https:// is accepted. Forever is already selected, so the link stays. Choose After for a number of days, or On a date for a calendar day. The short link is removed after that.
On the row
Each row shows the name and the short address. Copy puts that address on the clipboard. The menu has three actions.
- Open opens the original page, the address you shortened.
- Edit changes the name on this screen and the target URL. The short code stays.
- Delete removes the short link. The code no longer redirects.
Stats
Stats show opens over time, whether someone is new or coming back, and where the open came from: a direct open, Google or another search, a social app, email, or another site. They also show the country on a map, plus the device, browser, and system. The stats stay in the browser that created the link. Link previews and known bots are not counted.
This screen
The list is saved in this browser. Search, the magnifying glass at the top, finds a row by its name. Clearing the browser data removes the list. Delete is what removes the short link itself.
